Peloton has called attention to numerous upcoming classes via the weekly “This Week at Peloton” Instagram post covering March 25-31, 2024.
First, Peloton instructor Hannah Corbin will celebrate her 10 year anniversary with Peloton through a special class on Friday, March 29 at 3:30pm ET. The class will be a 30 minute Dance Music Ride, and will have members live in-studio at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY).
Fellow instructor Jess King also recently celebrated her 10 year Pelo-anniversary. Peloton has historically celebrated some instructor anniversaries with their own specifically-labeled “anniversary” class – most recently with Ben Alldis and Leanne Hainsby in November 2023 – but other times the celebration is worked into an existing class.
Next, Peloton took the opportunity to highlight their ongoing Spring Treasure Hunt programming initiative, which uses new classes to hint at specific classes in the on-demand library. Correctly identifying the class will earn you a special Spring Treasure Hunt badge. It appears Peloton has extended the hunt through April 15, and you can read all the details in our overview article.
Peloton is also highlighting an upcoming long form run with Becs Gentry. Becs will teach a 75 minute Pop Run on Sunday, March 30 at 11:00am ET.
Peloton has slowly been expanding their long duration running content; in February 2023 they released the first-ever 75 minute run with Susie Chan. They pushed the limits later in the year with the first 90 minute runs, also with Susie. Becs’ class will be the first 75 minute run in English since Susie’s run last year – there have been two additional 75 minute runs since then, both in German and instructed by Tobias Heinze.
There is also a special new class available for fans of Peloton’s pilates content: a 20 minute Holi Pilates with Aditi Shah. The class was released straight to the on-demand library on March 25 at 9:00am ET, and is now available for all members to take.
For those unfamiliar, Holi is a popular Hindu festival celebrated primarily in India and Nepal, but also in other parts of South Asia and among Hindu communities worldwide. It is also known as the “Festival of Colors” or the “Festival of Love”. The festival usually falls in March, marking the arrival of spring and the end of winter. You can take Aditi’s new Holi Pilates class via your app, hardware device, or the web browser.
Finally, Peloton Tread owners can look forward to six new audio guided scenic classes, arriving on March 27. Classes will be available in both English and German with instructors Jon Hosking, Joslyn Thompson Rule, Jeffrey McEachern, Marcel Maurer, Mayla Wedekind, and Tobias Heinze.
Peloton’s does not indicate where the scenic content will take place. Audio guided scenic classes will have an instructor audible, but not visible – similar to Peloton’s outdoor content. However, there will be visuals on the screen similar to a time or distance based scenic class that does not have an instructor present.
You will be able to locate the classes in a new dedicated Audio Guided Scenic Collection, also launching on March 27.
