Peloton has closed 4 more showrooms (or retail stores) in the US, according to their website.
This means that Peloton will have closed 11 showrooms in the US over the last few months (including these 4 new closures). We shared in January that Peloton had recently closed 7 showrooms then.
Peloton now only has 17 retail stores left in the US as of March 2025, following these 4 most recent showroom closings. A few years ago, Peloton had more than 75 showrooms open across the US.

The latest showrooms Peloton closed according to their website are:
- Canoga Park (Westfield Topanga), CA
- Roseville (Westfield Galleria), CA
- New York City (Manhattan West), NY
- Murray (Fashion Place), UT
One notable closure here is Peloton’s Manhattan West showroom. This store was unique in that it was located steps away from Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) and the showroom located within there. While the Manhattan West location had a much larger footprint and more room, many members had always questioned why two Peloton showrooms had been located so close – mere steps away – together.
These new showroom closures are part of an effort that Peloton started in 2022 – to reduce their footprint and costs for their showrooms.

Peloton has briefly discussed showroom closures in recent earnings calls and investors talks, saying that they continue to evaluate the performance of their showrooms, and were still actively looking at which ones to keep open or close. The timing of Peloton showroom closings can vary due to specifics of leases that Peloton had entered for all the various locations.
Peloton has said they do intended to keep some of their showrooms open – but has never provided an explicit list of which ones may be considered “safe” and not at risk of closing.
While Peloton continues to close showrooms, they are also experimenting with lower-cost / small format locations. Peloton is calling them “Micro Stores”, and opened their first test location in Nashville late last year. They are essentially kiosks in a mall – and is a format Peloton used in the past around the country as well.
As Peloton’s own stores have been closing, Peloton has also been expanding their presence by placing devices in several other stores thanks to third party partnerships. Peloton devices have been available in some DICK’S Sporting Goods locations since 2022, and were also showcased in Costco this past holiday season.
