Peloton is giving away one free Cross Training Tread+ device (the new Peloton Tread+) & a year of membership to the winner of a giveaway in partnership with the New York City marathon.
This is part of Peloton’s ongoing collaboration with the New York Road Runners (NYRR) and the TCS New York City Marathon. The official New York City Marathon account shared the news via their Instagram Stories, encouraging followers to enter to win.
Customers can enter the contest via the Peloton website.
The contest launched on October 26 and is open through November 7, 2025. The only information needed to enter is an email address and zip code. The complete terms and conditions cover all of the eligibility requirements and rules of the contest, and there are some pertinent items to note:
- The contest is only open to individuals who live within the contiguous United States and the District of Columbia.
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Everyone is limited to one entry.
- Those who enter the contest agree to receive marketing emails from Peloton.
According to the contest rules, Peloton will randomly select the winner on or around November 12. The prize is non-transferrable, and in addition to the Tread+ device (which currently retails for $6,695), the winner will also receive a check for $2,531 “intended to assist with tax liability related to the prize.”
The winner will also get a free year worth of All-Access membership for their device. After that first year, the member will responsible for paying the separate cost of $50 per month.
Peloton has held similar contests in the past, most recently in the Spring of 2024. However, those contests offered the Tread as opposed to the higher-end Tread+.
Peloton first announced their partnership with New York Road Runners back in 2023 ahead of the New York City Marathon that year. The partnership originally was scheduled to run through 2025 – it has not yet been announced if they are extending it. In case you missed it, Peloton is also hosting a full slate of events in celebration of the marathon this weekend.
