Peloton is encouraging members to prepare for this year’s Thanksgiving Turkey Burn celebrations with special classes designed to serve as a countdown to the festivities.
Update – Peloton has also added a flash challenge for taking these classes.
In a post announcing the new “Countdown to Turkey Burn” on Peloton, they teased it as a “cross-training program”, saying:
It’s a countdown to Turkey Burn! Get ready with a brand new cross-training program starting Nov 3 🔥
Mark your calendar for the live kickoff with Andy on Thur, Oct 30 @ 11:30 AM ET 💪
Plus… snag the official Peloton x lululemon Turkey Burn tee for the big day 👀
For those unfamiliar, Peloton celebrates Thanksgiving each year with a variety of special classes called “Turkey Burn” classes across numerous modalities. Their hallmark ride is the Turkey Burn led by Robin Arzón, but over the years they have branched into a number of new class formats to celebrate the holiday.
Peloton’s social media post includes a video showing instructors Rebecca Kennedy, Becs Gentry, Andy Speer, Robin Arzon, and Rad Lopez teaching classes at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY). According to the post, the countdown to Turkey Burn is a three week cross-training program designed to improve strength and endurance. The program includes three days of strength training, two days of cardio and one 60 minute session “stacked however you want.”

The series will kick off a live class on October 30th with Andy Speer at 11:30am ET – and will feature special guests. The class description reads:
We’re kicking off our Countdown to Turkey Burn cross-training program in style, and we’re doing it LIVE with Andy and some very special guests. Start your training on the right foot as Andy walks us through the thought process behind this program.
The multiple references to “program” suggests that the countdown to Turkey Burn will at some point be an official Peloton Program, but with the flexibility possible under Peloton’s revamped Programs infrastructure – meaning that members can customize the program to fit their particular schedule.
Beyond the strength classes, Peloton will have running, cycling, and rowing classes people can choose from to get their 2 days of cardio into the program. The 60 minute session is up to the user to decide – there will not be a 60 minute class named “Countdown to TB”, or one added to the collection.
While the full schedule & list of classes isn’t available yet, some of the classes have been listed, and they include:
