Peloton members have several new German-language programs & class releases to look forward to during the month of October. Peloton shared these details in a German language “Workout Recommendations For October” email, which was sent to the community today.
As part of this – Peloton instructor Erik Jager will be featured on the Peloton Tread with running classes.
On October 15th, there will be a new 7-day “Program your week with Erik” program added. Peloton specifically notes that this program will be where “you can accompany Erik on his first steps on the Tread.”
Update – Peloton “officially” announced Erik Jager as a Tread instructor on October 14th.
The full (translated) tease for Erik Jager’s new program reads:
Our trainers always take on new challenges. From October 15th, you can accompany Erik on his first steps on the Tread. In 7 days “Program your week with Erik” he shows you what his personal training week looks like and how he combines courses to speed up , endurance and running technique. From beginners to advanced everyone is invited.
At this time, it’s not known how often Erik Jager will teach running classes on a regular basis. However, the email intro did tease this month members would “experience Erik now also as a Tread Trainer.”
Update – Later in the day, Peloton Studios ended up making a social media post referencing Erik on the Tread and the email sent to members.

In addition – Peloton will feature new German-language split-strength programs led by Irene Kaymer & Cliff Dwenger. Both of these programs will be released on October 25th.
Peloton says (translated):
With our split programs you can specifically train individual muscle groups and repeat the program for a few weeks to see clear progress. From Friday 25 October, Irène and Cliff will be waiting for you with their first 3 and 5 day split programs.
This will be Cliff’s second new program this month, as he also led one of the first new Split+ bootcamp split strength programs.
As always, once these split strength programs as well as Erik’s program is released, you’ll be able to find full details and class lists about these Peloton programs here – where you can find details about any Peloton program.
The email goes on to tease a few individual classes as well. This includes the German Unity Day Move As One class – and an upcoming set of classes for Austria’s National Day on October 26th.
Finally, Peloton teased that there will be some German language Halloween classes, beginning on October 26th as well.
Erik’s addition to running classes is part of a bigger push of Peloton featuring their instructors on different modalities. Katie Wang was added as a strength instructor last month, while Camila Ramon is expected to be teaching her first strength class next week. Ben Alldis recently began teaching Bike Bootcamps as part of the introduction of the new Split+ programs.
