Peloton has released a 20 min Space Ride led by Robin Arzón, featuring NASA astronaut Dr. Jessica Meir joining from the International Space Station.
The class is available in the on-demand library, and a public version is available on Peloton’s YouTube channel. Peloton described the workout as a first-of-its-kind ride.
Jessica welcomes riders from the station’s cupola, with a view of Earth, before floating over to the exercise bike and riding along with Robin. When Robin takes members out of the saddle, Jessica points out: “No saddle for me, Robin.”
Jessica joined Robin via satellite while serving as spacecraft commander for NASA’s SpaceX Crew-12 mission. The class was released on October 22, two weeks after Jessica and her crewmates returned to Earth on October 8.
Robin coaches a five-minute warm-up, flat-road work, two climbs, and six intervals with 20 seconds of effort followed by 20 seconds of recovery. Their conversation covers exercise in microgravity, adapting to life aboard the station, teamwork, and parenting.

Jessica says astronauts have two-and-a-half hours scheduled for exercise each day. She describes about an hour of weightlifting and around 40 minutes of cardio on the bike or treadmill, explaining that exercise helps counter the muscle and bone loss associated with microgravity.
She also explains how the station’s Advanced Resistive Exercise Device uses vacuum tubes to create resistance for exercises including deadlifts, squats, and bench presses, with loads up to 600 pounds.
Jessica also describes how her brain adapted to moving in microgravity, and says her earlier 2019-2020 mission made it easier to adjust on her return to the station.
The conversation includes lighter moments, from Jessica demonstrating drinking water in microgravity to Robin discussing the storybooks Jessica brought to read to her daughter. Jessica shares that her daughter keeps asking whether she can come to space, while Robin says her daughter Athena has the same dream.
Near the end of the class, Jessica reflects on what working with an international crew has taught her, saying:
“It’s a really good testament to what we can do when we put our differences aside and work together on a common mission.”
The playlist includes:
- “Star Trek: Voyager” – The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra
- “Fly Away” – Lenny Kravitz
- “Intergalactic” – Beastie Boys
- “Stargazing” – Myles Smith
- “Give It Away” – Red Hot Chili Peppers
- “A Sky Full of Stars (Robin Schulz Edit)” – Coldplay
- “Beautiful Day” – U2
- “I Feel the Earth Move” – Carole King
Jessica also appeared on Robin’s Project Swagger podcast in an episode released in August. The ride also follows Robin’s recent class with Dr. Becky Kennedy and Walk + Run with Adam Grant.
Peloton has previously made special classes available on YouTube, such as the 2024 Becs Gentry and Lindsey Stirling run.
