Quirk with Warm Up / Cool Down Filter on Peloton (But Cool Down Classes Are Not Purged)

The “Warm Up/ Cool Down” filter on Peloton appears to be having an issue. Specifically – if you use the Warm Up / Cool Down filter, you’ll ONLY see warm up classes – and it appears the cool down classes are gone.

Update – As we speculated, Peloton has split warm up & cool down into two different filters, and the issues over the last 24 hours were the result of this transition.

This is making it seem like Peloton has purged & removed all cool down classes.

The "Warm Up / Cool Down" filter currently shows no cool down classes - even though they are still there.

When you scroll through the on-demand library, you will also not see any cool down classes when just scrolling through the main class list.

However, the good news is that these classes don’t seem to actually be purged. Peloton’s cool down rides (and runs, and rows) are still there, and can be found by using the search bar to search for the word “cool down”.

A search for "Cool Down" shows the classes still in the library - they are not purged.

As to why this is happening – we’re not entirely sure.

An optimistic view might be that Peloton is quietly recategorizing all the cool down rides, runs, and rows behind the scenes, in preparation for them to split the “Warm Up” and “Cool Down” into two separate filters – so you can find just one or the other.

Another possibility is that it’s just a random bug has appeared – that will be fixed shortly and everything will return back to normal with warm up & cool down classes both appearing under the same filter, and in the main part of the on-demand library.

We’ll provide an update once we know more.
