How To Buy A Guinness World Records Certificate for Peloton’s Thanksgiving Turkey Burn Ride & Run Classes in 2023

Peloton members who participated in either of the Peloton classes last year on Thanksgiving that broke two Guinness World Records can purchase a participant certificate.

As a refresher, Peloton successfully set two new Guinness world records on November 23, 2023 – one for the largest live cycling class, and one for the largest live running class. Robin Arzón taught her annual Turkey Burn Ride, and Alex Toussaint taught his annual Turkey Burn Run. Peloton had previously indicated they were looking to set new records, and had Guinness staff on hand.

For those who participated – whether at home or at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) – you can visit the Guinness World Records Website to purchase a participant certificate. You’ll navigate down to the “Certificate of Participation” section, and click “add to basket.”

From there, you’ll need to select a date and a country. The date of the Peloton classes was November 23, 2023, and the county will be the United States. From there, you’ll automatically be given two options to select from:

  • Most viewers of a running/jogging lesson live stream on a bespoke platform
  • Most viewers of a static cycling lesson live stream on a bespoke platform

Note that if you took part in both classes and want a certificate for both, you’ll have to purchase them separately, as you can only select one at a time.

After clicking “continue,” you’ll be brought to a screen to add your name. You can use your full name or your leaderboard name; whichever you prefer. You must also verify that you were actually participating by checking a disclaimer box, and you must agree not to use the certificate for commercial purposes.

From there you’ll checkout, creating an account and adding your shipping and payment details. Each certificate costs £25, or roughly $32.

2023 was Peloton’s 10th year of Turkey Burn content, and along with the Guinness World Records attempts, they celebrated with a special badge that was only available that day.

If you participated in the record-setting 2023 Turkey Burn Ride or Run and are interested in purchasing a certificate, visit the Guinness World Records website.

I just tried to purchase and the cheapest shipping $25.45 on top of the certificate. This makes the full total $55.35. Hardly seems worth it for a piece of paper that I can print myself. Maybe with a frame I would do it but not for this. Would have been a fun item to have.
