Waze GPS navigation app users have the opportunity to hear their directions from the voice of Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby.
Cody has partnered with Waze to provide a new narration option for app users. Cody shared the news via in a post on Instagram this morning, saying:
Get in loser, we’re going shopping🚗🛍️
Join me, your favorite passenger princess for a one of a kind drive. I don’t parallel park, but I will slay the playlist — the Cody Rigsby experience is now live on @waze Link in bio, let’s go girls
The post includes a video of Cody driving and using the Waze app with his narration setting, receiving directions with a Cody twist, such as stating “period” after a directive.
Cody can be heard at the beginning of a drive stating, “Okay, before we drive, let’s find a moment to take one big deep breath. All the drama out the door. In through the nose, out through the mouth.”
Waze users can change their settings by navigation to the “Customize Your Drive” section in the menu. You can also activate it by going here – the voice should be available globally.
The setting is called “Drive with Cody Rigsby,” and the description reads:
Navigate with hot takes.
Cody is your passenger princess today. He’ll give you directions and romantic advice, but he’s not pumping gas or carrying bags.
Enabling this setting will allow you to hear Cody narrating directional cues instead of the default Waze narration – or whichever Waze voice setting you have enabled.
You can also change your car icon and enable the special XOXO car, which is pink and red. There is also a new mood option for “flouncy” with rainbow colors – which will change how you’re displayed to other Waze users.

Cody is the second Peloton instructor to secure a narration gig with Waze. Matty Maggiacomo played the voice of the “Spicy Gingerbread Man” this past holiday season.
