Last month, Bike Bootcamps were split into their own category. However, this ended up impacting the monthly mileage cycling challenges.
Each month, Peloton launches a new cycling (and running) mileage challenge, where members can get a bronze, silver, or gold badge for cycling 50, 100, or 150 miles in the month. Ever since the Bike bootcamp category split happened, the miles biked during Bike Bootcamp classes were not counting towards these challenges.
Sometime over the last 24 hours, it appears Peloton has fixed this bug, or oversight. We’ve received several reports from users that the miles they biked during Bike Bootcamp classes today (Monday) are now counting towards their December cycling challenge.
Unfortunately, this change does not appear to be retroactive. So the miles biked during Bike Bootcamp classes from December 1st – December 6th will not count towards your challenges. But the good news is Bike Bootcamp miles going forward should now be.
For those of you on the hunt for every badge, don’t forget that in December, not only do you have the normal December activity & mileage challenges, but there is also a special Holiday Activity Challenge.
And for the next week and half, there is also the Flash Bike Bootcamp challenge, earned by taking 4 Bike Bootcamp classes.
Note: If you don’t see the cycling mileage challenge, you must first opt into it from a Peloton bike. Only then will you be able to see it on your iOS app or from the Peloton website.
