Peloton has continued closing their traditional showrooms (also referred to by the brand as “legacy” retail stores).
As September comes to an end, Peloton has closed another 6 showrooms – with 4 being closed in the US, and 2 being closed in Canada.
The list of showrooms Peloton closed at the end of September 2025 include:
- Newport Beach, New Jersey
- Raleigh, North Carolina/li>
- Portland, Oregon
- Tyson’s Corner, Virginia
- West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
- North York (Yorkdale), Ontario, Canada
The company has stated that they have a goal to close all remaining “legacy” showrooms by next summer – and this marks the next step in this direction.
With these closures, Peloton now has only 5 traditional showrooms remaining in the US (one in California, and four in Texas). In addition, they have the PSNY showroom open (which is not considered a traditional / legacy showroom so isn’t planned to be closed), plus their first two micro stores – one in Nashville, and one in Utah.

Peloton now also only has 2 traditional showrooms left in Canada – one in Calgary, and one in Toronto.
These traditional, or legacy showrooms, are being closed in favor of what Peloton is calling their “micro stores” – which are more like mall kiosks. Peloton has previous shared that from the first few months in their Nashville micro showroom, they have seen the same or better earnings & foot traffic at the location as a traditional showroom – but at a much reduced cost, as rent is a lower and more flexible.
Peloton plans to continue to roll out this micro-store model, and have publicly stated how they hope to have 10 micro store showrooms open by this holiday season. We have previously shared what cities those new micro store showrooms will be in (many of which previously had traditional showrooms that were closed).
CEO Peter Stern has also discussed how he plans to share a product roadmap before the holidays – so whatever is announced could be featured in the new micro stores as they open.

Thanks for the updates on the closing of showrooms and the opening of microstores. I guess what I do not understand is that in Durham, North Carolina, Peloton had a microstore for several years before opening up the full scale showroom. We purchased a bike there in 2019 and a tread+ in 2020 during the pandemic. They did not open the showroom in the same mall until 2021. The new microstore concept is what they had in Durham for a couple years before opening up the showroom.
Is the final two canadian stores closing? sherway?
