Peloton is offering an extended 60 day free trial – double the standard 30 days available to new members – for the Peloton App One and Peloton App+. Peloton sent an email to potential members advertising the offer:
Get more from your workouts with the Peloton App whether you’re at home, at the gym, or on-the-go. For a limited time, get a 30 60 day free trial to access more classes and level up your routine with Peloton App One or Peloton App+.*
The offer is available through October 31, 2023. A new support page has been published with additional information, and the Peloton homepage has been updated with a new banner that links to a 60 day sign-up page. As always, there are some important items to note about the offer:
- You must be a new Peloton App member.
- At the end of the 60 day free trial you will be charged the monthly rate for Peloton App One or Peloton App+ unless you cancel before the renewal date.
This is the first time Peloton has initiated an extended app free trial offer since they announced their new app tiers earlier this year.
The email from Peloton regarding the October 2023 60 day free trial offer includes information about the difference between the two app tiers. App+ is the top tier at $24 per month and access to all Peloton content; App One is the mid-level at $12.99 per month with access to content that does not require a hardware device.
As a reminder, there is also a completely free version of the app – Peloton App Free. This is the most basic and limited option of the Peloton App. Customers do not need to provide a credit card to sign up, and there is no expiration date or limited time offer for the free version. There is simply a list of 50 free classes members can choose from, in addition to a few “featured” extra classes beyond those 50 that will be rotated on a periodic basis. Note that any existing member can give their friends and family an extended 60 day free trial at any time using the Peloton Guest Pass.
