A 2 hour run with Becs Gentry on the upcoming Peloton class schedule.

First live 2 hour run on Peloton to be taught by Becs Gentry on Oct 4, 2024 (120 min run)

Peloton will hold its first ever live 2 hour run – 120 minutes – with instructor Becs Gentry in October of 2024.

New classes were added to the studio booking site on August 29, revealing a 120 minute run slated for Friday, October 4 at 6:00am ET. The class will have members in-studio.

This new live run with Becs will be the first 120 minute run available via the standard on-demand library, marking a significant milestone for Peloton’s long-form content.

There is one other 2 hour run currently available on the platform. This is a 120 min outdoor run from Susie Chan and Matt Wilpers. However, that class is not available through the traditional on-demand library. It was created as part Peloton’s half marathon training program (which is also now available dubbed in German).

Until now, the longest running classes taught on the Tread was 90 minutes, the first taking place with Susie Chan in 2023. Since then, there has been one other 90 minute class (from Mariana Fernandez) and a handful of other 75 minute classes on the Tread. There are also a few longer outdoor runs in the library, as well a few outdoor runs in those same half marathon training programs above.

Peloton did also recently add an even longer scenic run. Tread & Tread+ owners can take Peloton’s 2.5-hour NYC marathon course scenic run, which was created as part of their partnership with the New York Road Runners.

These longer runs bring Peloton’s running options more in-line with the cycling options that are available. Matt Wilper’s 120 minute Power Zone Endurance Ride was initially announced in September of 2023, and was the first 2 hour ride from Peloton in recent years. The classes now take place approximately once per quarter, or four times per year.

Will you be taking Becs’ upcoming 2 hour run on October 4, and are you eager to see more content like this from Peloton in the future?
