Peloton is once again waiving the Used Equipment Activation Fee (UEAF) for anyone who activates a secondhand Peloton device. The $95 fee will be waived automatically at checkout through March 31, 2026. No discount code nis eeded.
This is the second time Peloton has run this promotion. The company first offered free activation for used devices back in January, with that offer running through February 3.
This new round starts this week (it has now begun), and runs through the end of March.
The Used Equipment Activation Fee was originally introduced in August 2024 as part of several initiatives to boost Peloton’s revenue. Normally, anyone who purchases a used Peloton Bike, Tread, or Row from a third-party seller is charged the $95 fee when they go to activate their Peloton membership on the device. During this promotion, that fee is waived entirely.
The offer applies to all of Peloton’s hardware products: any Original Series or Cross Training Series Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, or Row/Row+.

It also applies regardless of where you purchased the used device, whether that’s Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or any other private seller.
While the activation fee is being waived, Peloton is still including the things it normally gets you, which includes:
- A $25 spare parts credit
- A 50% off coupon for up to three pairs of Peloton cycling shoes and a Bike mat
- A virtual product onboarding session
Peloton claims that used equipment activation enables continued feature functionality support and a seamless member onboarding experience.
If you’ve been eyeing a used Peloton on the secondhand market, this is a good window to pull the trigger and save the $95 activation cost. The offer is valid through March 31, 2026.
