Peloton Instructor Tunde Oyeneyin to Appear at Faces of Fitness Chicago Festival with YMCA Chicago

Peloton instructor Tunde Oyeneyin will appear at a YMCA event in Chicago on July 27 – 28, 2024 as part of the upcoming Faces of Fitness Chicago festival.

The Faces of Fitness festival will take place on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28 in the River North area of downtown Chicago. The event will feature multiple stages with different classes and coaches, offering attendees the ability to sample various modalities, formats, and workouts.

In addition, according to a Peloton for Business LinkedIn post, Peloton will have their own booth at the festival on both days, and there will be Bike+ and Row devices available to test out and enter for a giveaway.

Tunde will be teaching a Bodyweight Strength class on Sunday, July 28 at 9:30am on the main stage. According to the YMCA Chicago press release:

Plus, our friend from Peloton, instructor Tunde Oyeneyin, will be leading a top-notch Bodyweight Strength class on Day 2 of the festival, in partnership with the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago! She’ll be bringing the energy to the mainstage on Sunday, July 28, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a meet-and-greet at the Y’s booth in the Wellness Village.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Tunde, receive free swag, and learn about YMCA Chicago and Peloton.

Tickets must be purchased in advance via Eventbrite and range between $50-$65; however, entering the code “YMCA” upon checkout will provide a $10 discount.

In addition, a portion of all sales benefit Urban Initiatives, a non-profit organization that empowers young people through sport and play.

Peloton first announced a partnership with YMCA Chicago just under one year ago. Ash Pryor appeared at an event shortly after the announcement.

This event follows the recent announcement regarding the expansion of Peloton’s partnership with YMCA Chicago, which teased more events, suggesting that this appearance by Tunde will be the first of more to come. In addition, all Chicago YMCA members aged 18 and order will receive free access to Peloton’s lower tier “App One” subscription, and there will be Bike+ and Rows in all of Chicago’s “Community Hub locations.”
