Peloton Australia announced an equipment trade-in promotion that runs through April 8, 2024.
Through April 8, you can receive an extra $100 AUD off your Bike, Bike+, or Tread package when you trade in an old treadmill, stationary exercise bike, elliptical, rower, or other eligible cardio equipment.
This is on top of a promotion for up to $500 AUD off Tread and Bike+ Ultimate packages, and up to $450 AUD off Bike packages, that anyone is able to get without a trade-in. The trade in offer is stackable with this promotion.
According to Peloton Australia’s trade-in program’s FAQ page, the goal is for the equipment to be recycled that is traded in.
“Winning, our delivery partner works in conjunction with licensed recycling facilities to ensure old equipment is responsibly recycled, where possible. Click here to find out more.”
To take advantage of Peloton Australia’s trade-in program, use the promo code TRADEIN at checkout. One piece of cardio equipment may be traded in per purchase. Old equipment can be in any condition, just make sure to unplug it (if applicable) and dismantle it as best you can before your new Peloton equipment is delivered.

For example, Peloton equipment cannot be traded in. Other terms and conditions include being within Peloton’s Australian delivery zone (enter your postcode to check delivery availability when you shop the Bike, Bike+, and Tread website pages).
You can also use the 30 Day Home Trial of your new Peloton equipment when you take advantage of this trade-in offer, however, you will not be able to get your old equipment back once it is traded in.
Peloton Australia’s Facebook post also reminded that an internet connection and All-Access Membership ($59 AUD/month) is still required to access Peloton’s content.
Peloton Australia launched in 2021, initially selling the Bike and Bike+ in select areas as well as releasing the digital app. The Tread became available in Australia in early 2023. In June 2023, Peloton Australia launched a partnership with ClassPass for members to book a spot in one of Australia’s showrooms to take a Bike or Tread class.
Peloton has had other trade in programs before – notably, members were able to trade in an original Peloton Bike towards the purchase of a Peloton Bike+. However, that offer ended in 2022.
At this time, the current trade in promotion is only available in Australia.
