This morning, Peloton introduced a new strength (and cardio) series taught by Ben Alldis. The new Total Body 20 classes are 20 minutes long, and are “targeted workouts incorporate both muscle training and interval exercises to help you build a stronger body whilst feeling the burn of empowering HIIT pushes, for an efficient, effective routine like no other”

Ben Alldis posted about the new series today, saying:

It’s time to build a stronger you! See you on the mat💪🏽

As mentioned in the post, the first Total Body 20 strength class will be on Monday, April 24th 2023 at 6:30am ET. At time of publishing, there is only one class scheduled for the next two weeks though more are sure to be added in the future.

The official class description of the Total Body 20 strength class is listed as “Short on time? Join Ben for an efficient and effective workout like no other. Ben shared a little more about his philosophy behind the new Peloton Total body 20 classes:

With this new Guide-ready strength series, I will maximize your time on the mat, helping you build muscle, hit cardio goals, and get you feeling fitter and stronger than ever.

Welcome to Total Body 20, I’m excited for people to take this series because I can’t wait for them to see the huge benefits of combining both strength and cardio within one 20 minute workout.

I think people are going to be surprised. at whatever level they are coming it, at the progress they can make with consistency and this incredible way to train.

I’m going to be here with you, the music is going to be there with you, and together, we’re going to hit those fitness goals and every week going to be finishing with a Ben’s Banger.

Although Ben mentions the classes are “Guide-Ready”, they will be available for all members to take (and won’t be restricted for 7 weeks like the Guide-only programs).

Ben Alldis now has several dedicated strength class options for members to choose from. Earlier this year, Peloton released The Stronger You strength program with Ben Alldis – a dedicated 4 week program which was first released on the Guide.

For members who don’t want a multi-week training program, there is also a 5 day split strength training program taught by Ben Alldis – designed be repeated so you can track your progress over time.
