Peloton has announced a new event series in partnership with GirlTREK, an organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness in Black women through walking and community building. Peloton shared the news via the @PelotonStudios Instagram Stories.
Called “Sisterhood Saturdays,” Peloton and GirlTREK will host events in Dallas, Washington D.C., Houston, and New York City. A new webpage is available with more information and registration for each event. The overarching event description reads:
Hey sis! GirlTREK and Peloton are teaming up for a series of GirlTREK walks in select cities. Come walk with us in Dallas, Houston, the DMV, and NYC. Led by your favorite GirlTREK Crew LEaders from Peloton Showrooms across the country, you are sure to have a joyful good time filled with Sisterhood. Save your spot by registering below!

Each Sisterhood Saturdays event series is anchored at an existing Peloton retail store in that city/region. The full list of Sisterhood Saturdays events is below, and clicking on each specific link will bring you to the full schedule for that region and allow you to register:
- GirlTREK x Peloton Houston Walking Crew – Peloton Highland Village – October 11, November 9, November 23
- GirlTREK x Peloton DMV Walking Crew – Peloton Tysons Corner – October 12, October 19, November 9, November 23
- GirlTREK x Peloton Dallas Walking Crew – Peloton Dallas – October 12, October 26, November 9, November 23
- GirlTREK x Peloton NYC Walking Crew – Peloton Manhattan West – November 2, November 9, November 16, November 23
Attendees can expect “Peloton warmups, swag, snacks, and more.” Those who participate will also reportedly be eligible for an extended digital app free trial of 60 days.
It is worth noting that GirlTREK has been involved with Peloton through the Peloton Pledge initiative, which aims to foster inclusivity and support marginalized communities. Launched in April 2021, this pledge is intended to demonstrate Peloton’s commitment to social justice and health equity by collaborating with organizations that align with their mission to make fitness more accessible.
