New “Shred It: Simplified” Program (Beginner Level) from Rad Lopez on Peloton Strength+ App

Peloton has another new Strength+ program available.

“Shred It: Simplified” is a 2-week beginner program designed by instructor Rad Lopez. This is Rad’s third program in the Strength+ platform – all of which are part of the “Shred It” family. His 4-week “Shred It” program was one of the earliest programs on the app, and then Shred It 2 was added as a follow-up earlier this year.

The new “Shred It: Simplified” is only the second beginner level program on Strength+. The first, Spark Your Strength, was designed by Andy Speer and released in June.

Rad’s beginner “Shred It: Simplified” program has 20-minute workouts 4 times a week.

This link to “Shred It: Simplified” will take you directly to the newest Strength+ program if you are accessing this from a phone with the Strength+ app installed. Otherwise, you will be directed to Peloton’s main Strength+ website.

The official program description for the “Shred It: Simplified” program is:

“Short-duration effective training for wanting to shred with limited time. The program will take place over 2 weeks, and each workout will be 20 minutes long.”

Rad shared more about his beginner program:

“This program is perfect for taking your workouts on the go if you’re short on time. Over just two weeks, we’ll focus on endurance workouts that blend strength training and high intensity interval training. With only 20-minute efforts four days a week, you’ll be able to make a difference without sacrificing your schedule.

I’ve designed it so it’s for beginners but also advanced athletes. You’ll be able to tweak your intensity, your weights, and your rest periods to match your fitness level.”

If you take the “Shred It: Simplified” program as designed, the only gym equipment that is required are dumbbells. The suggested program schedule is workouts on days 1, 2, 3, and 4 with recovery on the remaining days.

    What can we do to make strength app available on other areas rather than just the US? Why the delay in rolling it out Peloton?
