The Seasonal Recovery Rides collection for Sam Yo.

Peloton Adds a Summer Recovery Ride and a Seasonal Recovery Rides Collection with Sam Yo

Peloton has released a new Summer Recovery Ride from Sam Yo, and gathered his recovery rides into a dedicated collection.

Peloton announced the collection, called Seasonal Recovery Rides, via Instagram.

The collection description reads:

“Join Sam as he guides you through movement and mindfulness to help get your body and mind set for the seasons.”

Peloton also described the classes by saying they are “designed to create intentional resets throughout the year, helping you restore, recharge and recover with purpose by combining thoughtful movement, active recovery and mindful moments.”

Sam shared the news about the collection by saying “after 4 years, these classes that helped me write a bestseller get its own collection” (referring to his recently published book – The Monk’s Mindset: Finding Stillness in a World That Won’t Stop Moving (affiliate link).

The newest installment, a 20 minute Summer Recovery Ride, dropped straight to the on-demand library on Friday, July 17 at 12:00am ET. With it, the Seasonal Recovery Rides collection will soon hold 12 classes.

Each ride is built around a specific season and blends gentle cycling with reflection, almost like a moving meditation. Sam launched the seasonal format in April 2024 with a Spring Recovery Ride, framing it as one recovery ride per season.

Sam Yo recently had a few breathwork / meditation classes added to Peloton’s Breathwrk app.

The cadence of these seasonal recovery rides has shifted year to year. Sam has released Spring and New Year’s rides across a number of years, and in 2024 he did a full set for all four seasons, with New Year’s, Spring, Summer, and Autumn rides. In 2025 it scaled back to just the New Year’s and Spring rides. With this Summer Recovery Ride now landing, it looks like 2026 may bring a full run of seasons again, though Peloton has not confirmed that.

You can find the full collection here, and add the new Summer Recovery Ride to your stack, in the on-demand library.
