Peloton is running a full week of German-language Schlager classes starting Monday, September 7, with a different theme each day and a Wolfgang Petry Artist Series among the highlights.
Peloton Studios announced “Schlagerwoche,” or Schlager Week, through Instagram Stories. Their description roughly translates to “training to the rousing melodies, catchy lyrics, and cheerful beats of Schlager while exploring the different sides of the feel-good genre.”
Each day of the week has its own theme:
- Monday – Party Schlager
- Tuesday – Wolfgang Petry Artist Series
- Wednesday – With special guest Vanessa Mai
- Thursday – Italo Schlager
- Friday – Schlager Pop
- Saturday – Schlager Hitparade
- Sunday – Schlager Foam Rolling
All of the Schlager Week classes are taught in German. Peloton has also created a new badge that members can earn by taking one of the classes included in the week.
Tuesday’s programming is a new Artist Series featuring Wolfgang Petry, and Wednesday will feature an artist series with Vanessa Mai in studio.
Peloton announced the Wolfgang Petry series separately on Instagram, writing:
“Let the unmistakable sound of @wolfgangpetry_das_original push you further on the Bike, Tread, and mat in classes that are a highlight of our week-long celebration of schlager. Hits you know by heart await.”
Four classes make up the Wolfgang Petry Artist Series, all taught in German and released Tuesday, September 8.

The Wolfgang Petry series comes about two months after Peloton released another four-class German-language Schlager Artist Series featuring Helene Fischer. Assal Arian, Benny Adami, and Erik Jäger are instructors in both series.
Schlager Week also follows Peloton’s Reiselust Week in early August, which featured 14 German-language classes spread across seven days. Reiselust is Peloton’s annual German summer series and was previously known as Summer Break.
