Peloton has officially launched a new collection dedicated to the “Real Routes” series led by professional cyclist and guest instructor Christian Vande Velde.
As of publishing time the collection includes five classes and is available on Bike & Bike+ hardware devices, the digital app, and the web browser. The official description of the collection reads:
“Join our professional cyclist as he brings his favorite outdoor routes to your indoor bike experience. Whether you’re pedaling through local roads or navigating up famous terrain, this will be a workout you don’t want to miss!”

Peloton first launched the Real Routes series in late 2024. The series offers riders an immersive experience where Christian guides members through real-world rides throughout the class plan. The Real Routes series debuted with a ride focused on Col du Galibier, a legendary climb featured in the Tour de France.
At time of publishing, the classes in the collection are:
- Las Palmas
- Alpe d’Huez
- Milan to San Remo
- Road To Hana
- Col du Galibier
In addition, fans of Power Zone training will likely be interested to know that Christian recently taught his first FTP test ride on the platform. A 10 minute FTP warm-up ride and a 20 minute FTP test ride were released straight to the on-demand library on June 16, 2025.

If you are unfamiliar with power zone training or the FTP test, we have a number of resources available on our site.
