Peloton will host a private event at Peloton Studios London (PSL) later this month to celebrate the opening of their new retail space.
Update – Cody Rigsby will be at PSL that day teaching a two for one class with Leanne Hainsby, so it seems very likely both of them will be at this private event and helping to do press and promote the new retail space.
Peloton sent an email invitation to members:
You are cordially invited to attend a private event at Peloton Studios London to mark the opening of our new retail space. Join us for drinks and light bites whilst shopping for your favourite looks from Peloton’s latest apparel collection.
The event will take place on Thursday, February 23 from 6:30-8:30pm. The dress code is described as “smart casual” and there is a note to “be sure to show up in your best sparkle! You never know who might show up.” This suggests that at least one instructor will be present – perhaps Leanne Hainsby, as hinted by the mention of “sparkle?”
Members are instructed to RSVP in order to reserve their spot at the event (details are provided in the email for those who got it), and the invite is non-transferable.
Peloton has significantly ramped up the frequency of their in-person events over the past few months. In 2023 alone there have been two Lunar New Year events in both London and New York City, and an event with instructor Callie Gullickson for the launch of her Peloton Apparel collection.
We first reported in August 2022 that PSL was expanding. The plans included the first retail store at PSL, as Peloton planned to take over space next door that was previously home to a Kent & Curwen (designer menswear) store. According to planning documents, the retail store will be accessible to those not taking classes at PSL.
