lululemon x Peloton “Playdate” Classes & Collection

Peloton has launched a new set of “Playdates” classes in partnership with lululemon in honor of World Mental Health Day.

These first of their kind Peloton classes are filmed outdoors rather than in the traditional studio setting, and feature never before seen items such as a hula hoop and jump rope.

There are a total of six new Peloton playdate classes – including a two-for-one – spanning four modalities, each utilizing optional equipment or no equipment. You can view the complete class list below:

There is also a special badge awarded to any member who completes one of the Playdate classes. As always, we have a comprehensive badge guide available for those looking to earn more.

All of the lululemon x Peloton Playdate classes have been placed into a dedicated co-branded collection for easy access. Called “Playdates,” the official collection description reads:

Play is a powerful tool that can improve mood and help with stress management. Experience its power in these new classes, brought to you in partnership with lululemon in honor or World Mental Health Day.

Each class features a playful mix of activities that are designed to boost mood and help with stress management. Rebecca’s class utilizes a hula hoop, and Adrian’s class utilizes a jump rope – the first time such items have been used in Peloton workouts. These sessions embrace the joy of movement in a way that feels more like play than a workout, emphasizing the idea that fitness doesn’t always have to be serious; instead, it can be a fun and uplifting experience.

The classes can be viewed on the digital app, web browser, and hardware devices; though note that viewing the collection on a hardware device will only display the classes that can be played from that hardware device. For example, the Bike will not show the pre-run warm-up class.

It is worth noting that the collection specifically mentions World Mental Health Day, which is observed on October 10 each year. Peloton typically honors the occasion with special content.

lululemon issued a press release regarding the Playdates initiative, which will also tie into in-person events on October 10 at their retail locations across the country. According to the press release:

On October 10, more than 500 lululemon stores across North America are setting up playdates, offering free, play-inspired activities hosted by hundreds of Ambassadors so guests can move and connect with others. With a full larger-than-life playground takeover of the 5th Avenue store in New York City, guests can join playful activities and surprises throughout the day in partnership with lululemon Ambassador, Kendall Toole and National Alliance on Mental Illness. Check your local store for details.

As a reminder, former instructor Kendall Toole departed Peloton at the end of June 2024; however, she is still a lululemon ambassador and will be involved in their initiative on October 10.

lululemon’s World Mental Health Day page specifically notes that the Peloton Playdate classes are available for anyone who is unable to attend one of the in-person playdate events. The page states:

Can’t meet up in person? Join us on Peloton for a 5- or 10-minute Playdate class. Even short workouts can boost your wellbeing, and with playground-inspired moves—from hopscotch to Simon Says—the fun comes to you.

It is currently unclear whether these new Playdate classes are a one-time offering, or whether Peloton will add to the collection moving forward.

Will you be checking out any of Peloton’s new Playdate classes, or attending one of lululemon’s in-person events on October 10?

I’ve taken Chelsea’s play date class and the Matt and Adrian two-for-one so far. Really enjoyed both but you can’t beat getting two fun instructors together! #GayleForceOne
