Peloton is holding a one day contest to give away four free race entries into the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon.
So far, this contest has only been promoted via the @PelotonStudios Instagram Stories.
The United Airlines NYC Half Marathon will take place on March 17, 2024, and members can complete a Google Form to receive a chance to win a free race entry.
Note that this is a one-day contest and the deadline to enter is 11:59pm ET on January 25, 2024. In addition, the prize includes only the race bib, and does not include any travel, lodging, or additional cost coverage.
There will be four winners who are given entries into the race through this contest.
There is also a new webpage with more information about the contest. Note that individuals must be an existing Peloton member of at least 18 years of age and residing within the United States in order to enter the contest. The form asks the below questions:
- Name
- Email address
- Leaderboard name
- Whether you are already registered for the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon
- What motivates you to exercise
- Why is this race important or special to you
- How has Peloton helped support your journey
- Social media handles
The winners will be selected based on the following criteria: “(1) Embodiment of the Peloton community and values (50%), (2) Originality (30%), and (3) Responsiveness (20%).” The awardees will be notified via email, and will need to respond within 10 days.
In October of 2023 Peloton announced a multi-year partnership with the New York Road Runners (NYRR), the organization that organizes NYC marathons. The collaboration included a race bib contest, and there have already been numerous audio-only content releases, including a TCS NYC Marathon Highlights Run and 5 Borough Outdoor Runs. We anticipate new scenic content from the 2023 NYC Marathon to be released in early 2024.

I crossed the finish line this past November at the NYC Marathon. I completed it with Pelotons Marathon program.
I did enter the lottery for half but no dice. I’m very creative but not sure how to be here. I love my Peloton instructors and I am truly grateful for them.
