Gamers may soon find themselves coming across references to Peloton.
Twitch is launching their own custom Fortnite Creative experience, which will be called “The Glitch”. As part of this, they will be highlighting some of their advertisers. The first two featured advertisers will be Peloton, as well as Dominos.
VentureBeat shared an overview of the game, saying:
It’s a team-based, 16-player Zone Wars game where players complete tasks in an unstable world in the name of restoring order. There are four teams of four each.
But every match they have will be governed by a randomly generated glitch event, and these glitch events will take them to the different moons, which are different maps. There can be different modes within each moon.
Domino’s and Peloton will have their own moon. Each world is a branded game. If it’s successful, more brands are expected to jump in.

DigiDay reports that while exact financials of the deal are not known – Peloton was already paying for advertising on Twitch, saying:
For advertisers such as Domino’s and Peloton, which were already paying for video ads on Twitch prior to getting involved in “The Glitch,” the company is framing its inventory inside Fortnite Creative as a way to build on their pre-existing campaigns on the platform.
“When brands come to Twitch — or let’s call it Amazon Ads in general — they think about it as a holistic campaign, because they’re trying to reach different audience, however they’ll get noticed,” Garabedian said.
This new experience will be launching on Friday @ 9:00am PDT, as part of TwitchCon San Diego.
In addition to being featured in the game itself, Twitch streamers will be promoting these experiences. Amazon Ads shared an example of how one integration may look:
“Twitch and the Look North World teams have deliberately baked in player-brand interaction at every corner; for example, players can come across a fully-modeled Domino’s pizzeria. By engaging in a ‘pizza party,’ their health will be fully restored – allowing them to get back into the action and giving a powerful connection to the brand’s product.”
We will share more information about Peloton x Twitch Fortnite gaming soon.
