There is a brand new Peloton x Target collaboration. This morning, Peloton shared a press release announcing the launch of Peloton Apparel (and accessories) through Target’s online shopping platform.
Peloton said:
As part of our Peloton Apparel strategy, we recently began collaborating with select US retailers to offer more places for consumers to purchase our clothing and accessories. Starting today, we are launching an assortment of items on Target.com, one of the largest US retailers.
Peloton is listed as a “Target Plus Partner” (or Target+ Partner) – which means they are one of many third party retailers who list and sell their items directly to people through the Target website.
You can find all the Peloton items on Target’s website here. Peloton states that “we aim to meet Members where they are in their fitness and wellness journey, including how they shop for athletic wear, as consumer shopping behaviors continue to change” – which is why they are launching apparel on places like Target.com

At this time, Peloton apparel & accessories are only available thorugh Target’s online website – there is no announcement as of yet that you may be able to find Peloton devices on the floor at Target stores in person.
Peloton apparel items listed online include men’s and women’s tops, sports bras, shorts, and more. In addition, there are Peloton accessories listed like cycling shoes, yoga mats, water bottles, and more.
Peloton’s description of itself on Target’s website mentions “Peloton is the global leader in personalized fitness and wellness – encouraging anyone, anywhere to find their power.”
Target notes that “A Target Plus Partner is a third-party company that sells and ships items directly to you through Target.com and the Target apps. Target curates these Partners to bring you exciting brands and items you can order online.”
The standard Target return policy appears to apply to these items – namely that you can take them into a store for a return, or, get a free prepaid return label. This stands in contrast to apparel orders made from Peloton themselves, who charge a restocking fee on any returns. There have even been reports that Peloton has sent people the wrong sizes (different than what they ordered) and tried to enforce the restocking fee to have the correct size to sent to them.
The Peloton x Target partnership is the second major partnership for Peloton Apparel (excluding all the discount retailers they have previously tried to offload inventory at like TJ Maxx, Sierra, and more). Last November, Peloton launched on the Nordstrom marketplace.

Peloton notes that “These types of collaborations allow us to drive brand awareness and expand the size of the audience that might consider a Peloton purchase.”
In an interview last year, Peloton’s Chief Content Officer Jen Cotter had teased more partnerships beyond Nordstrom, saying that after the Nordstrom launch had rolled out “we’re going to consider other partners to put Peloton apparel out there to raise recognition.”
Peloton teased that again today in their press release, saying that “As we build on these initial collaborations, we will use our key learnings to fine-tune our thinking and approach to third-party retail partnerships. We are excited about the opportunity to make Peloton apparel and accessories more accessible for current and prospective Members. ”
