Peloton has posted a new video to social media that appears to feature Miley Cyrus, though the company has not said exactly what it is teasing.
The short video was posted to social media with the caption: “You’ll wanna lose yourself to this”
The video shows a woman walking into a building, turning on the lights, and beginning to stretch her upper body.
Her face is never clearly shown, and Peloton does not identify or tag anyone in the post.
However, there are several signs pointing to Miley Cyrus.
The woman in the video appears to have tattoos matching Miley’s, while Peloton’s caption closely references a lyric from her newest song, “Bass Persuades”.
“Bass Persuades” is the lead single and title track from Miley’s new album, which was released on September 18 through Atlantic Records. The album is her tenth studio album and the first since she began promoting professionally under the single name “Miley.”
It’s not clear whether Peloton is teasing a new Miley Cyrus artist series, or some type of other campaign with her.
Peloton has previously timed Artist Series around new album releases. Most recently, Peloton launched a Madonna Artist Series in July celebrating the release of Confessions II.
Miley has also been featured by Peloton before. Her original Peloton Artist Series took place in January 2021 and included Ride, Run, Strength, and Yoga classes from Jess King, Rebecca Kennedy, Matty Maggiacomo, and Aditi Shah. She later returned as part of Peloton’s Outdoor Artist Series Reloaded in 2023.
However, Peloton’s teaser does not necessarily mean new classes are coming.
Earlier this year, Peloton posted a similarly vague teaser featuring Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams.
At the time, it was unclear whether Peloton was teasing themed classes or another type of collaboration. That ultimately turned out to be a new “Let Yourself Go” advertising campaign starring Williams rather than a set of Heated Rivalry classes.
For now, Peloton has not announced any classes, dates, or other details beyond the teaser video.
