Peloton conducting scheduled maintenance on September 4th from 8:00pm – 11:00pm ET

Peloton has announced that they will be conducting some “scheduled maintenance” on the platform.

This maintenance will take place from 8:00pm – 11:00pm ET on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024.

The company is aiming for the maintenance to have minimal impact of members, but, there is a chance for outages during this window.

Update – Peloton started their maintenance window at 8:00pm ET as expected. Members began reporting issues with the Peloton app, site, and classes shortly after.

Update 2 – Peloton marked the maintenance as completed at 8:38pm ET.

Peloton shared that “We take every effort to ensure a seamless experience for our members, but you may experience service interruption during this time.”

Since Peloton no longer has live classes on Wednesdays anymore, there will be no live classes taking place that would be impacted by this maintenance.

Instead, it would be members taking live classes during on-demand during this time – or those browsing the website or using the Peloton app who might feel the impact of this.

For any members who find themselves asking “Is Peloton Down?” during this time frame – this maintenance is likely the cause for the Peloton outage on September 4th.
