Peloton has teamed up with NBA player Karl-Anthony Towns for a promotional video.
Karl-Anthony Towns, who plays for the New York Knicks, recently filmed a “Never Have I Ever” video for Peloton. The video is filmed from his home gym, and shows him walking & jogging on his Peloton Tread+ during the video.
The video serves two purposes – one being a promotion for the Tread+, and the other being a showcase of Karl-Anthony Towns and letting people get to know him.
You can find the video below, or on the Peloton blog.
In the video, he talks about discovering new songs in Peloton classes, playing in the NBA, plans for his post-NBA career, and more. He wraps the video by talking about how good his knees feel after running on the Tread+.
Peloton recently shared that Tread+ delivery would take a few weeks or months. No exact reason was provided for this – it is not known at this time if Peloton has sold their 10,000 unit backlog yet and is manufacturing new units.
This is part of Peloton’s ongoing partnership with the NBA which was released last year. They recently named Breanna Stewart as the first Peloton x WNBA Ambassador and released a video with her.
This partnership has also seen some Peloton x NBA classes created, as well as a Peloton presence at several NBA events throughout the season.
