Peloton hires two SVPs to oversee global marketing

As Peloton looks to capitalize on the growth experienced over the past year, the company is stepping up their marketing game with two big hires.

Starting August 18th, Dara Treseder will serve as the Senior Vice President, Head of Global Marketing and Communications. In this role, she will set strategies for Peloton’s marketing efforts and continue to build the Peloton brand as the company continues to expand and grow internationally. Treseder will join Peloton from Carbon, where she serves as chief marketing officer. She has also worked for GE, Apple, and Goldman Sachs. She is also on the board of the Public Health Institute, a nonprofit organization that is working to improve health, equity, and wellness in the US through research, strategic programming, and policy work.

With a renewed focus on global expansion, Peloton has also promoted Karina Kogan to Senior VP, Head of Global Product Marketing. Kogan joined Peloton in April 2019 as General Manager of Digital. In her new role, she will oversee the expansion of Peloton’s product portfolio. She has been the force behind the growth in Peloton’s app and digital community.

As of the end of Q3, Peloton’s revenue had increased by 66% in 2020. Peloton has scheduled its Q4 and year-end earnings call for September 10th. It’s likely that number will be even higher as gyms remain closed and the coronavirus is still spreading in many communities across the US.
