Peloton has launched gift cards that can be applied towards hardware devices, memberships, and accessories. A new promo has appeared on the Peloton homepage.
The widget links to a dedicated page for gift cards on the Peloton website: https://www.onepeloton.com/gift-cards (affiliate link). The website states:
Shop gift cards to redeem on Peloton equipment, accessories, and memberships.
Redeemable at onepeloton.com and at participating Peloton stores only. Please note that these gift cards cannot be redeemed at apparel.onepeloton.com. We’ll email the gift card directly to you or the recipient instantly or on a specified date.
Clicking the link to buy will redirect to a CashStar page to actually purchase the gift card: https://onepeloton.cashstar.com/.
Gift cards are currently available in the United States and Canada; however, the website contains a note that they will become available soon in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia.
A new support page is available with additional information. There are a number of noteworthy items:
- Currently all gift cards are electronic gift cards; physical gift cards are not available “just yet.” There are several electronic card designs to choose from. Customers can choose to immediately email the gift card to the recipient, or have it be sent at a later scheduled time.
- Peloton gift cards can be used to purchase apparel in Peloton’s retail stores, but cannot be used on the Peloton Apparel website, as there is a separate Peloton Apparel gift card available. Customers can potentially transfer values between a Peloton gift card and a Peloton Apparel gift card by visiting http://peloton.giftcardhelp.ca/.
- Customers who have received a gift card can view their balance by visiting the CashStar portal.
- Peloton gift cards do not expire, and are not reloadable.
- Peloton has launched a dedicate site for gift card support: https://peloton.giftcardhelp.ca/.
In June of 2023 Peloton added the ability to pre-purchase All-Access Memberships for gifted hardware devices. When gifting a Peloton Bike/Bike+, Tread, or Row, customers have an option to prepay a 3, 6, or 12 month All-Access Membership, which is required with all hardware devices.
With these new Peloton gift cards – which work on memberships, hardware, and accessories – anyone can buy you a gift card, which you can then apply to your membership. If given a gift card, you can load the balance onto your membership by visiting your Peloton account membership page: https://account.onepeloton.com/mymembership/addgiftcard.
Note that the gift cards cannot be applied to in-studio credits & classes. Years ago Peloton offered studio credit gift cards; but those are no longer available for either Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) or Peloton Studios London (PSL).
