Peloton removed the beta tag from all of the currently available Entertainment apps.

Peloton Entertainment apps (Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, YouTube TV) all out of beta & publicly available

Peloton Entertainment is now fully out of beta mode and publicly available to all Peloton members.

Starting on December 13, 2023, Peloton removed the beta tag from all of the services available in the Peloton Entertainment section. This included Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, and YouTube TV.

Following this update, all Peloton members now should have access to all of these apps, assuming their hardware supports them (as we recently shared, some older bikes might not have access to all apps).

Peloton Entertainment started to exit beta mode last month, when NBA League pass became publicly available – and at the same time Entertainment as added as a tab to the bottom of the screen. Prior to this, Peloton Entertainment was not available to all members. The Entertainment apps were previously located within the “More” tab along with Scenic and Lanebreak content at the bottom of the touchscreen.

Note that all of the current entertainment app options in the Peloton Entertainment feature are subscription-based services and are not part of the Peloton membership – meaning you’ll need to be paying separately for access to these services.

We’ve previously shared how Peloton has been quietly testing other streaming services – although we haven’t seen those enter a wider beta program yet.

What streaming services do you hope to see in the future on your devices?

Do you need to subscribe to peloton membership to access streaming services? Or if I cancelled my peloton membership can I still watch Netflix if I have a Netflix membership?
