Peloton Donates $100,000 to Action For Healthy Kids

Last month, Peloton announced an initiate to raise money for Action For Healthy Kids. For every member who took any three of 17 special “Move For More” workouts, Peloton would donate $5 to Action For Healthy Kids. The Peloton community had from December 3rd until December 19th to do their 3 workouts.

Peloton has revealed that enough members did the workouts to generate a $100,000 donation to Action For Healthy Kids & Active Schools US from Peloton. This means that over 20,000 different Peloton members took at least 3 of the workouts.

If you still aren’t familiar with what Action for Healthy Kids is about, here is their mission statement:

Founded in 2002, Action for Healthy Kids is a public-private partnership of more than 60 national organizations and government agencies representing education, health, fitness and nutrition. We address the epidemic of overweight, sedentary, and undernourished youth by focusing on changes in schools to improve nutrition and increase physical activity. We work to engage diverse organizations, leaders, and volunteers in actions that foster sound nutrition and good physical activity in children, youth, and schools. Action for Healthy Kids envisions a world where all kids develop the lifelong habits necessary to promote health and learning.

All of the Move For More workouts are still available On Demand, although they won’t trigger any more donations. Simply look for the Move For More collection on your tablet, or you can reference our list for the time & date of each of them, and then search for the classes.
