Peloton shared what new programs, challenges, and special themed classes members can look forward to in October. These were shared in Peloton’s “October Workouts to Watch” email.
This followed the German workouts to watch email, which revealed that Erik Jager will be teaching running classes starting this month.

One highlight Peloton shared is that a new Discover Strength program will start on October 18. This will be taught by Joslyn Thompson Rule and will be “an empowering strength program designed to enhance your mobility and form.” The target audience for this program is “advanced beginners.”
Joslyn began teaching Peloton Strength classes in July of this year with the Strength Basics collection, taught by herself and Matty Maggiacomo.

Also beginning in October, Peloton will host a new 26.2 Challenge leading up to the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon which will be on November 3. Get in the marathon spirit with Peloton by running or walking 26.2 miles between October 26 and November 3, and earn your challenge badge.

If you are in New York City, Peloton will celebrate the NYC Marathon with more events that you can attend. And don’t forget about taking the scenic NYC Marathon content on your Peloton Tread/Tread+ to get you ready for the big day.
Also, remember to take U.K. Black History Month classes throughout the month of October. Keep checking the live schedule for new classes to be announced, and catch up with this year and past years’ classes in Peloton’s Black History Month Collection.

Close out October with special Halloween classes. Peloton’s live Halloween-themed classes will begin on October 26. While Peloton hosted a flash challenge for Halloween 2023, there’s no word yet if another Halloween challenge might be coming this year.

Lastly, Peloton highlighted its new Split+ programs which we shared about last week. These Split+ programs are akin to the traditional strength Split programs, but the + denotes the various cardio modalities. Each Split+ program is 4 classes within 1 week. The classes begin with strength training and end with cardio. Ben Alldis and Cliff Dwenger teach Split + Ride (Cliff in German), Katie Wang teaches Split + Row, and Olivia Amato teaches Split + Run.

There are lots of exciting things coming this month! Which classes are you planning to take?
