Peloton Adds Nonprofit Employee Discounts with Up to $600 Off Equipment & Savings on App Membership

Peloton has added nonprofit employees to its special pricing program, with the new discount going live on Friday, August 7.

Unlike the senior discount, which spent months in testing before going wide, this one launched as a permanent, nationwide offer right away. Peloton says more than 78,000 nonprofits are covered at launch.

Peloton announced it in a blog post, writing:

“Peloton is proud to announce new special pricing for nonprofit employees – the latest in our ongoing commitment to making our world-class fitness ecosystem accessible to the people who devote their lives to supporting our communities.”

Verified nonprofit employees get the same discounts as the other non-student groups (medical, military, educator, first responder, government employees and veterinarians), meaning both hardware and standalone app membership savings.

On the hardware side, the current discounts for nonprofit & other eligible groups are:

  • Cross Training Bike: $250 off, now $1,445 (from $1,695)
  • Cross Training Bike+: $500 off, now $2,195 (from $2,695)
  • Cross Training Tread: $300 off, now $2,995 (from $3,295)
  • Cross Training Tread+: $600 off, now $6,095 (from $6,695)
  • Cross Training Row+: $300 off, now $3,195 (from $3,495)
  • Refurbished Original Bike: $150 off, now $995 (from $1,145)
  • Refurbished Original Bike+: $150 off, now $1,245 (from $1,395)

On the app side, App One drops to $9.99/mo (from $12.99) or $99/year (from $129), and App+ drops to $19.99/mo (from $28.99) or $199/year (from $289).

As with the other groups, that membership discount covers the standalone Peloton App only. A nonprofit employee who buys a discounted Bike, Tread, or Row+ still pays the standard All-Access Membership rate to use it. There is no discount on the All-Access membership.

This is open to new & existing members, and is currently US only. The discount will apply automatically at checkout, once you have verified your eligibility through ID.me. If your employer is not listed, you can submit it through ID.me for review. Peloton says organizations are vetted and added on an ongoing basis.

This discount also cannot be combined with other promotions. Peloton’s current sale runs up to $850 off the Cross Training Bike and Bike+ through August 18, which is a bigger discount than special pricing offers on either bike. Anyone eligible who is shopping for a bike in the next week should compare the two before verifying.

Peloton launched the first phase of special pricing in 2025 for medical, military, educator, first responder, and student groups, and has been adding categories since. Government employees and hospital workers came later, and the 65+ senior discount became permanent in July after running first as a quiet test and then as a limited-time offer.

The nonprofit page went up the day after Peloton reported its first profitable fiscal year along with fiscal 2027 revenue guidance that came in below Wall Street estimates.
