Peloton has made its senior discount permanent & widely available, rolling it out to everyone as a standing category on its main special pricing page. This program offers discounts on the Peloton app membership, as well as on hardware purchases.
We first covered the program as a quiet test, and then as a more expanded limited-time offer. It has now graduated to a permanent, year-round discount, listed alongside Peloton’s other special pricing groups at onepeloton.com/offers/specialpricing (affiliate link).
Peloton announced the expansion on Instagram, noting that eligible seniors can “claim or share up to $600 off on equipment year-round.”
To qualify, members must supply valid ID verifying they are 65 or older, verified through ID.me. The offer is US only.
On the hardware side, the senior discounts match Peloton’s other special pricing groups:
- Cross Training Bike: $250 off, now $1,445 (from $1,695)
- Cross Training Bike+: $500 off, now $2,195 (from $2,695)
- Cross Training Tread: $300 off, now $2,995 (from $3,295)
- Cross Training Tread+: $600 off, now $6,095 (from $6,695)
- Cross Training Row+: $300 off, now $3,195 (from $3,495)
- Refurbished Original Bike: $150 off, now $995 (from $1,145)
- Refurbished Original Bike+: $150 off, now $1,245 (from $1,395)
On the app side, standalone Peloton App members save as well. App One drops to $9.99/mo (from $12.99) or $99/year (from $129), and App+ drops to $19.99/mo (from $28.99) or $199/year (from $289).
One important catch: that membership discount applies only to the standalone Peloton App. It does not apply to the All-Access Membership that hardware owners pay, so a senior who buys a discounted Bike, Tread, or Row+ still pays the standard All-Access rate to use it.
The full fine print:
- Eligibility requires valid ID verifying age 65 or older, verified through ID.me.
- US only.
- The membership discount covers the Peloton App only (App One and App+), not All-Access Membership, which remains separate on all hardware.
- One discount per eligible product type (Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, Row+, and each refurbished model), with each order placed separately.
- Cannot be combined with other offers, referral codes, or discounts, and available while supplies last.
Making the discount permanent widens the pool of buyers Peloton can reach, and it lines up with the company’s repositioning around movement, mobility, and wellness as it a wider group of members. Seniors now join the military, first responders, healthcare workers, educators, veterinarians, government workers, and students who already qualify for special pricing.
