Peloton Opening Three New Micro-Store Showrooms in Georgia, Florida, & Virginia

Peloton is continuing its rapid expansion of their micro-store showroom concept (which are essentially mall kiosks), with three new locations opening soon in Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.

The new locations that will soon host a Peloton micro-store are:

  • Perimeter Mall in Atlanta, Georgia
  • International Plaza & Bay Street Mall in Tampa, Florida
  • Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia (Washington D.C. Metro Area)

The Tysons Corner location is particularly notable, as Peloton’s previous full-size showroom in the same mall closed just at the end of last month.

This comes on the heels of Peloton opening an additional four micro-stores in Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, and Washington last week.

We previously shared that Peloton was likely to open micro-stores in some of these locations after new job postings became available. Peloton’s proof of concept for their micro-store initiative was their debut in Nashville, Tennessee, and earlier this year they opened a second location in Murray, Utah.

All of these micro-store locations will showcase Peloton’s Cross Training equipment – the recently announced upgraded hardware product line.

These latest openings bring Peloton extremely close to their target of having 10 micro-store locations open by the end of 2025. These mall-kiosk style spaces are designed to engage customers efficiently without the overhead of a full-sized store.

In the meantime, Peloton is continuing to close their traditional showrooms – including six just last month – further reducing their retail footprint across the U.S. Peloton has already confirmed their intention to shutter all remaining traditional retail locations by next year.

As we have previously shared, the “traditional retail locations” do not include the showrooms at Peloton Studios New York or London – those are planned to contain to remain open for the time being.
