Peloton is expanding their monthly challenges with the new addition of a monthly yoga challenge. In addition, the monthly yoga challenge, which was first introduced last month, is back as well.
The two new challenges have been populated in the “upcoming” section of the challenges tab for the month of June.
Peloton’s standard challenges are offered each month for activity (days active on the Peloton platform), cycling, strength, and running. The challenges track certain metrics – such as days active, miles cycled or run, or number of classes completed – and award a corresponding badge depending upon the outcome.
Both the yoga & meditation challenges will track members based on the number of workouts they do of those class types.
Peloton added a special challenge for May to observe Mental Health Awareness month; however, the latest This Week at Peloton Instagram post indicates that the monthly meditation challenge is here to stay, with yoga being added as well.
The official description for the monthly Meditation Challenge reads:
Focus your mind and ground yourself with our new monthly Meditation Challenge. Complete 5+ Meditations each month for the chance to earn a Bronze, Silver or Gold badge.

The official description for the monthly Yoga Challenge reads:
Flow your way into Summer with our new monthly Yoga Challenge. Complete 5+ Yoga classes each month for the chance to earn a Bronze, Silver or Gold badge.
The badge opportunities are the same as for the strength monthly challenge. Taking five classes will earn you a bronze badge; taking 10 classes will earn you a silver badge; and taking 15 classes will earn you a gold badge.
If you’re on the hunt for additional badges, be sure to check out our site for a complete guide of badge opportunities.
Though not explicitly stated, it seems probably that the new monthly Meditation and Yoga challenges will remain as standard challenges moving forward, along with the existing challenges for activity, cycling, strength, and running.

If you’re interested in participating in Peloton’s monthly meditation or yoga challenges in June, be sure to opt in via the “Challenges” tab on your hardware device, app, or web browser in order to ensure your progress is tracked.
