Peloton Instructor Matty Maggiacomo Is The Voice of “Spicy Gingerbread Man” on Waze App

If you use the Waze GPS navigation app, you have the opportunity to hear a familiar voice this holiday season. Peloton instructor Matty Maggiacomo plays the voice of “Spicy Gingerbread Man” on the app. Matty shared the news via Instagram:

The Spicy Gingerbread Man is a seasonal narration option for Waze users. Matty can be heard at the beginning of a drive stating, “Ready to start your drive? You bring the sugar and I’ll bring the spice. Like, I’m talking an outrageous amount of spice.”

There is a new alert on the Waze app prompting users to to consider changing their narration voice to the seasonal option.

Enabling this setting will allow you to hear Matty narrating directional cues instead of the default Waze narration – or whichever Waze voice setting you have enabled.

You can also change your car icon and enable the special spicy gingerbread man “mood” – which will change how you’re displayed to other Waze users.

Matty shared in his posted video that he enjoys voice acting, and this project was one of the “silliest and most fun things” he’s ever done.

If you have the Waze app, will you be enabling the Spicy Gingerbread Man setting so that you can have Matty provide directions while you drive?
