Peloton Instructor Matt Wilpers Will Run the 2024 Boston Marathon

Peloton instructor Matt Wilpers is going to run the 2024 Boston Marathon. He shared the news during his 30 minute 80s Run on February 9, 2024 at 7:00am ET.

In the run, he stated:

“So y’all, I got a little announcement. I just got accepted to the 2024 Boston Marathon. So I’ve been doing some sneaky training behind the scenes and now it’s official – I’ll be at the Boston Marathon this year. Wish me luck!”

Matt later went on to share the news via his social media channels as well. There, he said:

Very excited to announce that I will be running in the 2024 @bostonmarathon !!
Thank you for your support team!! Let’s do this 💪

The 2024 Boston Marathon will take place on Monday, April 15. Matt has run numerous marathons. He also recently had a special video series in anticipation of the 2023 New York City Marathon called “The Road to NYC Marathon Series,” in which he shared tips for training, recovery, and preparing for the NYC Marathon.

There is a growing list of Peloton instructors training for an upcoming marathon. Kristin McGee recently announced she will be running the 2024 London marathon; after Leanne Hainsby, Ben Alldis, Jeffrey McEachern, and Jon Hosking also shared they will be running.

We also recently reported that Erik Jäger, Tobias Heinze, Jeffrey McEachern, and Irene Kaymer (formerly Scholz) are training for the Berlin Half Marathon.
