Peloton is once again shaking up its executive ranks as part of a broader effort to reset its brand and operations – this time with a restructuring of their marketing department. These changes were first revealed by Adweek.
Lauren Weinberg, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), has exited the role after just 16 months. During her tenure, Peloton’s marketing budget was slashed by 19%. Weinberg’s exit makes her the third CMO to leave the company since 2020, following Dara Treseder and Leslie Berland. Weinberg had joined the company in December 2023 – and was was one of the senior female executives featured in Forbes‘ recent article on Peloton.
Letena Lindsay, Peloton’s Vice President of Global Communications, is also departing after seven years with the company.
AdWeek reports that these changes come as part of a restructuring of Peloton’s marketing division, splitting the function into two distinct teams. As a result of these changes & departures, Peloton will be searching for both a new CMO and a Chief Communications Officer.

While the search is ongoing, newly appointed CEO and President Peter Stern will oversee marketing. Stern officially assumed the role at the beginning of the year.
This is the second set of leadership changes to take place at Peloton this month. Earlier in April, Peloton announced the departure of Andy Rendich as their Chief Supply Chain Officer, and the hiring of Charles Kirol as Peloton Chief Operating Officer. In addition they announced they would be searching for a Chief Information Officer
These developments will likely be covered in the next earnings call, which should take place in May. We will share updates as they become available.
