Susie Chan & Joslyn Thompson Rule Leading Classes at HOKA Hackney Half Marathon Race Weekend + More Activities

The HOKA Hackney Half Marathon weekend is here, and Peloton has shared the full schedule of events that members can stop by for as part of their partnership with the race that was announced earlier this year.

The race takes place on Sunday, May 17 in East London as part of the broader Hackney Moves festival weekend. The highlight for Peloton members will be a series of classes with two Peloton instructors. Susie Chan will lead pre-run mobility classes on Saturday, and Joslyn Thompson Rule will lead both a pre-run warm up and a post-run cool down on Sunday. The full schedule of those classes is below:

Peloton Classes at Hackney Moves Half Marathon Weekend

  • Pre-Run Warm Up with Joslyn Thompson Rule – Sunday, May 17 from 8:55am – 9:05am at the Start Stage

Susie Chan is also running the Hackney Half herself this year, which she shared was particularly meaningful given that she ran the very first Hackney Half back in 2014.

On race day, Peloton will also have a Cheer Zone at Mile 9 on Lamb Lane, with music, confetti, and sign-making to encourage runners as they approach the later stages of the course.

In addition to the classes and Cheer Zone, Peloton will have a gazebo at the Race Village both days. The Bike and Tread will be available to trial with a prize wheel, and there will be a sign-making station on Sunday morning to create race-day signs. There will also be free hair braiding by The Braid Bar, with the first 80 people to have their hair braided on Saturday receiving a complimentary Tangle Teezer hairbrush while supplies last.

This weekend is the culmination of several months of Peloton activations around the race, which included a first run club from PSL on April 8 with Jermaine Johnson and a second run club on May 13 with Jon Hosking and Hannah Frankson. Peloton also still has an active giveaway running through May 24 for a Peloton Cross Training Series Tread and a 2026 TCS New York City Marathon bib for new subscribers to Peloton marketing.
