Changes to London Calling Events (German Member Events) at Peloton Studios London (PSL) + First Weekend On Sale

Peloton has made a few small changes to their German member weekends at Peloton Studios London – also known as “London Calling Weekends”.

As a refresher, Peloton previously announced 2024 London Calling dates in December: March 30, June 29, October 5, and November 30. For those unfamiliar, these are weekends throughout the year in which the focus of live classes from Peloton Studios London (PSL) is German language classes. These weekends provide Peloton’s German community an opportunity to meet and experience PSL in-person, and also typically feature special panels and activities. The website teases it as where you can “Come to London and train with the people you usually only meet on the leaderboard and feel the Peloton spirit live.”

The first change is that rather than all 4 weekends throughout the year dropping for sale all at once, they will be added on a rolling basis closer to each weekend; though note that they will not follow the normal studio schedule of six weeks in advance. In 2023 all four London Calling event dates were released to the studio booking at one time – in some cases, up to nine months in advance.

The first weekend on March 30 becomes available for sale today today, January 26, 2024. At time of publishing, those classes are now available on the Peloton Studios website to book.

The list of classes for Peloton’s London Calling weekend 1 include:

  • Mila Lazar – 30 min Ride – 3/30/24 @ 8:30am GMT
  • Tobias Heinze – 30 min Run – 3/30/20 @ 9:30am GMT
  • Irene Kaymer – 30 min Ride – 3/30/24 @ 10:00am GMT
  • Jeffrey McEachern – 30 min Walk + Run – 3/30/24 @ 11:00am GMT
  • Charlotte Weidenbach – 30 min Ride – 3/30/24 @ 11:30am GMT
  • Erik Jager – 30 min Ride – 3/30/24 @ 1:30pm GMT
  • Marcel Maurer – 30 min Tread Bootcamp – 3/30/24 @ 2:30pm GMT

Additional activities, panels, and events are sure to be included as well.

This also tells us that Irene Kaymer, who was announced to be returning to Peloton, is expected to be teaching classes again within the next 2 months as she is on the schedule.

With this change, Peloton has also created a localized German-language version of the studio booking website, which you can find here: https://studio.onepeloton.de/. You can use the site to book any classes for both PSL & PSNY, however, the home page is dedicated to sharing information about the London Calling weekends.

The home page mentions:

Peloton Studios London Calling is entering its second year. In 2024 you can rock out in the studio with our German trainers again, meet the Peloton community and celebrate the Peloton experience together.

It goes on to state:

From workouts to meet & greets – look forward to four days with the Peloton community, our German trainers and lots of exciting events in 2024. Join us and book your Live Studio course now for £25.

And that is another change that is being made to London calling weekends – the price has increased from last year. In 2023 London Calling weekend classes had a reduced cost at £15, as opposed to the standard PSL class cost of £25. However, in 2024 attendees will pay the standard £25. The support page states: “We have revised our pricing to match the standard price of our member studio classes at Peloton Studios London £25.”

Finally, London Calling classes will count towards members’ regular class limit within one weekend, which is four classes (including waitlist spots, which is a change Peloton implemented last month). In 2023 London Calling classes were exempt from the standard limitations. Note that any additional activities such as panels, sessions, or other events in relation to London Calling will not count towards any Peloton Studios limits, as those bookings occur separately.
