Peloton instructor Kirra Michel will be teaching a complimentary yoga class in Times Square in New York City later this month. Kirra shared the news via her Instagram stories:
The class will occur on June 21 at 9:30-10:30 a.m. as part of Times Square’s “Solstice in Times Square” series. The official event description reads:
Solstice in Times Square: Mind Over Madness Yoga will return on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 with our 21st annual event! Experienced yogis and first-timers alike are invited to join us for one of seven free yoga classes taking place throughout the day on the Broadway pedestrian plazas, finding calm once again within the chaos of life in New York City.
The event is free, but individuals will be limited to one class throughout the day. Attendees are also encouraged to make an optional donation to support yoga charity Community First.
This is the second year Peloton has participated in the Solstice in Times Square event. Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts taught a class in 2022, and several of her fellow instructors attended.
