Over the past two days, three Peloton instructors have taught their final live classes at the company.
Ross Rayburn had his final yoga class on Friday morning (after announcing his departure in April), and then Kristin McGee taught her final yoga class on Saturday morning – after announcing her departure on June 13.
This was followed by Kendall Toole teaching her last Peloton class – her “Farewell Ride” on Saturday afternoon. This came after her departure announcement on June 17th.

Leading up to the ride, nearly 24,000 people had indicated interest in this ride by adding it to their schedule.
This interest translated to people actually showing up for the ride. When the ride took place, those on the bike saw more than 17,000 other riders live on the leaderboard.
In addition to those who took it from a Peloton Bike or Bike+, there were also thousands of other app riders who took the class. Combined, this meant more than 19,000 people took this ride live (Those who take a class from the app don’t show up on the leaderboard on the Peloton Bike, leading to the difference in numbers).
This class did have members & special guests live in studio for the ride. Several of Kendall’s fellow Peloton instructors were live in studio to show their support – including Ash Pryor, Mariana Fernandez and Camila Ramon. In addition, some members of her Never Knocked Out Crew were in the studio as well.
Kendall chose to highlight songs from special classes throughout her time at Peloton in this playlist. This included songs from some of her most popular artist series classes (Megan The Stallion and Blink 182), some Pop Punk (Paramore), songs she has played in previous mental health rides, as well as songs from her Movie Buff playlists (Greatest Showman), and more.
Thankfully, Peloton’s servers did not seem to have any widespread outages even with the thousands of users on the ride. This is in contrast to the 2023 Guinness World Record ride attempt – which crashed as members tried to join the ride.
Peloton set a world record with that Turkey Burn ride (even with the server issues) at 27,550 people. However, Peloton’s 2020 Turkey burn ride is still the largest Peloton class in history with over 50,000 riders live on that ride. There have been a handful of other rides with over 20,000 live riders as well (including some other previous Turkey Burn rides).

Peloton has previously said that all three instructors were leaving Peloton following contract negotiations.
