Peloton is offering some bonuses to both the referrer and referee for a limited time as part of their referral program.
For the existing Peloton members: when someone uses your Peloton referral you will get two free months of your Peloton membership rather than the typical $100 off Peloton apparel referral bonus.
For the person signing up with your referral code: they will receive a discount on their purchase. The amount varies based on what type of device they are buying, but it ranges from anywhere from $200 off up to $700 off the purchase of a Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, Row, or Guide.
The exact discounts, which runs through July 9, 2024 is as follows:
- $200 off with purchases of Peloton Bike
- $500 off with purchases of Bike+
- $400 off with purchases of Tread
- $700 off with purchases of Tread+
- $200 off with purchases of Row
Purchases must be made using a referral link, and the discount should show up automatically once the purchaser adds a qualifying hardware item to their cart. However, it may require the purchase of an accessory or package to get the discount to trigger.
To get your personalized referral link to share with friends, visit Peloton’s Equipment Referrals webpage. Your link will begin with https://account.onepeloton.com/referral and will be a long string of more than 100 characters.

If you are purchasing hardware using someone’s referral link, you should see something like this on the landing page with the profile of the referrer:
Once someone has made a qualifying purchase using your personalized referral link, you will then receive an email with your link to redeem two months of free All-Access Membership. All-Access Membership promotional links received in connection with this offer expire on October 9, 2024.
Also as a reminder, members may make referrals to a maximum of 6 people per calendar year.
Other terms and conditions include for this offer, which is currently only in the US, are:
- Purchase must be of a new piece of hardware (e.g., Bike, Tread, Row)
- Referral must be made by an All-Access Member (includes account holder as well as linked profiles under the account), and excludes rental members
- Referral link may not be used in conjunction with limited edition hardware
- One referral link or promotional link may be used per order
- Cannot be combined with other offers
This is the second time this year Peloton has changed the referral bonus to be free membership instead of a referral credit. The first time was in February 2024.
Some Peloton devices should also be on sale later in July as part of the Amazon Prime Day sale.
