Peloton instructor Johanna Ricouz has been added to the lululemon ambassador team.
lululemon shared the news via Instagram earlier last week, writing:
“Two practices. One mindset. Welcoming new Ambassador @junglejohanna in conversation with @m_a_i_z_u. From what brought them to the mat to what still humbles them—and why Yoga and Pilates don’t compete.”
The announcement was paired with a video of Johanna in conversation with Mai Izumitani, exploring the relationship between yoga and Pilates.
Johanna alluded to the announcement as well with a post where she said “NEW SUMMER MANTRA LOADING! MY LAST LIVE CLASS TIL JUNE IS ON @onepeloton NOW. WEARING @lululemon OF COURSE 😏”
This isn’t Johanna’s first connection to lululemon. When Olivia Amato was announced as a lululemon global ambassador back in February, Johanna was one of the Peloton instructors who joined Olivia and Adrian Williams to teach at the lululemon Studio Yet pop-up in Los Angeles. Johanna led a Sunrise Pilates class on March 1.
Johanna is now also one of the spotlighted Peloton x lululemon instructors at the lululemon members’ weekend taking place in June.
Johanna joins a growing roster of Peloton instructors who are also lululemon global ambassadors. The current list includes Olivia Amato, Cody Rigsby, Callie Gullickson, and Erik Jäger, Hannah Frankson, Adrian Williams, and Chelsea Jackson Roberts.
As a reminder, Peloton and lululemon have a five year global strategic partnership that was initially launched on September 27, 2023.
