Ash Pryor, Alex Karwoski, Alex Toussaint Featured On Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff for Michigan vs Ohio State Football Game in Peloton Bike Competition

Peloton was featured in a segment on Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff today to help pick the winner of the University of Michigan vs Ohio State University football game.

The segment featured instructors Alex Toussaint and former college athletes Alex Karwoski and Ash Pryor at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY). Alex K. and Ash (who are both rowing instructors) went head-to-head on Peloton Bikes with resistance set to 50 for 25 seconds to see who could get the higher total output (calculated by combining cadence and resistance).

Alex K. represented the University of Michigan, and Ash represented her alma mater, Ohio State University. Alex Toussaint acted as the Master of Ceremonies.

If you didn’t catch the battle of Peloton instructors on Fox as part of the pre-game coverage of the football game, you can watch it on @PelotonStudios Instagram.

The studio was rearranged from the regular setup, with the closest audience bikes removed – and one large ring of bikes set up towards the back of the room. Peloton had people in the studio on those bikes, representing U of M and OSU fans, cheering as the competition between Ash and Alex K took place.

The three Peloton instructors went on @PelotonStudios Instagram story live before their in-studio battle, teasing the appearance today.

Alex K. won the battle, with a 25-second output of 13 kJ, while Ash had an output of 9 kJ. Alex Toussaint closed Peloton’s segment with:

“However you like to compete, cycling, running, rowing, strength, Peloton can help you reach that goal.”

Peloton’s Big Noon Kickoff segment on Fox did, in fact, accurately predict the winner of the game. University of Michigan beat their long-standing rival with a score of 13 to 10.
