Peloton’s “Extra Series” Classes Expand to Strength (Extra 10 Strength)

Peloton is expanding their popular “Extra 10” series into a new modality – strength. Peloton shared the news via the weekly “This Week at Peloton” @PelotonStudios Instagram post:

New class type: Strength Extra 10. Quick, focused strength classes without warm-ups to add on to your workouts. Available now in the Extra 10 Collection.

Six new “extra 10” strength classes with six different instructors were released straight to the on-demand library on December 11, 2023. Each class is 10 minutes in length and focuses on a particular muscle or muscle group. You can view the complete class list below:

All of the classes are labeled as an intermediate level and are designed to be taken after another workout. Thus, they do not contain a warm-up – members should be prepared to jump straight into the work upon starting the class.

Now that “extra” classes have expanded to strength, members can likely expect new content on a regular basis moving forward.

The “Extra” class format first launched in November of 2022, with classes added nearly every week since then – typically on Mondays. By definition, the classes do not contain a warm up and are designed to be stacked after another workout. We also shared earlier this year that the series would expand to additional modalities, and rowing was added over the summer, along with a new 5-minute version of the class type.

You can find all available Extra Series classes in Peloton’s dedicated collection.

Do you enjoy Peloton’s “extra” content, and are you happy to see strength added as an option?
